2024CHINASHOP, namely the 24th China Retail Trade Expo, was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from March 13th to 15th. This expo focused on smart retail, green retail, and experience retail, showcasing the application results and solutions of AI, VR/AR, ChatGPT, cloud computing, etc. in the retail industry, as well as selected products suitable for supermarkets, convenience stores, etc. DMALL also once again presented its innovative technological achievements in retail digitization.

At the booth, the basic business of DMALL - the Retail Cloud business - demonstrated the five digital capabilities created by Dmall OS, which can help physical retail enterprises fully achieve the construction of digital capabilities in terms of products, users, stores, supply chains, and management; the value-added business - DMALL AIoT - showed the all-round operational efficiency improvement based on the combination of software and hardware and digital capabilities from three business dimensions: intelligent loss prevention, intelligent equipment and energy efficiency, and intelligent efficiency improvement.

DMALL LITE also attracted many growing retail enterprises to come for consultation. From the product positioning to the six major advantages of the product, it has a great attraction to the target customer group.

Different from previous participation in CHINASHOP, the highlight businesses showcased by DMALL this time focused on overseas business and AI applications.

In 2019, DMALL expanded beyond the mainland China market. In Hong Kong, it helped the DFI Group build the yuu, a very popular retail membership platform in Hong Kong with nearly 5 million users; in Singapore and throughout Southeast Asia, it provided comprehensive retail digital services for the DFI Group; in the Philippines, it established a cooperation with the SM Group; in Europe, it provided diverse retail digital services for METRO. The exploration and implementation in Southeast Asia enabled DMALL to win two awards at the 2022 Retail Asia Awards: the (China) Best Digital Solution of the Year and the (China) Best Customer Service Solution of the Year.

In the latest AI wave, DMALL reached a strategic cooperation with Microsoft to implement applications in retail scenarios such as marketing, inspection, and clearance, reducing costs, improving efficiency, and increasing revenue; it also jointly held an AI competition with Feishu to incubate more AI application scenarios, insisting on practical innovation to solve actual retail operation problems.

Under the huge challenges faced by physical retail, DMALL put forward the forward-looking assertion that the future of retail is to achieve the integration of online and offline on the basis of full digitization, and to help Chinese physical retail enterprises embark on the distributed e-commerce path of integrating stores and warehouses.
