On February 2nd, the AI Hackathon competition jointly organized by DMALL and Feishu came to a successful conclusion. As the first stop of the AI Hackathon, this competition lasted for nearly one month, with more than 200 contestants and over 40 teams signing up to participate, starting from the pain points of the industry to explore the innovation of "Retail + AI".

Taking the AI Hackathon as the Starting Point for AI to Empower the Industry

What is AI Hackathon? It is specially designed for those groups who have a deep interest in artificial intelligence. In the AI Hackathon, contestants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their technical talents and insight capabilities, and solve real-world problems through coding, innovation, and solving complex problems. Feishu, by jointly organizing the AI Hackathon event with DMALL, incubates more AI landing scenarios to accelerate the business to embrace the AI era.

At the final event, Zhang Feng, the president of DMALL, said, "This competition is just the starting point. I hope that in the future, we can work with Feishu to make more in-depth explorations in the application of AI to empower the business and partners."

Taking this competition as an example, the contestants broke the original thinking boundaries, combined with the specific scenarios and pain points of the retail business, and used "AI + Feishu" as tools and paths to produce innovative solutions. The AI Hackathon encourages creativity and inspiration, and encourages contestants to use various AI products for demo construction.

There are 15 teams that made it to the finals. Their competition topics are distributed in multiple scenarios such as intelligent inspection, code management, category marketing planning, human resource function research and development, and management of abnormal merchant sales.

In the past year, although the AI industry has been very popular, the common perception in the industry is that there are very few truly useful AI products, let alone AI products with commercial value. In the future, DMALL hopes to work with Feishu to continuously bring about "three ones" changes to the organization: an innovative atmosphere of using AI to solve problems, a group of people who can use AI to solve business problems, and some business directions that can turn from demos into actual projects.

The Gold Award is Announced: AI + Multi-Dimensional Table Helps Intelligent Inspection

Finally, the "Tian Gong Kai Wu" team won the gold award of this competition. Their AI multi-modal capabilities combined with the multi-dimensional table to land the intelligent inspection scenario received unanimous praise from the judges. This grand prize was awarded by Zhang Wenzhong, the founder of DMALL, and Zhang Nan, the president of Feishu. The winner said, "Through this AI Hackathon event, we have enhanced our cognition and interest in AI technology, and we will bring more AI thinking into our actual work in the future."

After the competition, Zhang Nan said, "Thank DMALL for giving Feishu such trust to jointly explore the business opportunities and development space brought by AI. I hope that more production data can be accessed in the future to land more scenarios. In the future, when enterprises encounter business problems, they can think about how to solve the problems with AI, and also strengthen the AI content within the organization to encourage more and more people to use AI."

Zhang Wenzhong also expressed his message, "Up to today, the most important thing for the development of AI is its application. For DMALL, we use AI for down-to-earth and practical application innovation, with the aim of bringing more customers, better sales, higher efficiency, and better experience to retail customers."
